Trying no saves against boss battles is pretty dumb. It's too hard to estimate the difficulty of spider, kraken, etc. I could live with the loss except your character literally cannot! The arbitrarily stiff penalty for losing against a boss irks me. Maybe someone with more experience at the game could do it, but I'm allowing myself at least one free try versus the bosses.
