If you've ever flown something like CH products fighter stick with rudder pedals on IL2 and then used a cheap 40 dollar joystick to fly - you'd know that it costs more than 40 bucks to get a decent flight control setup. It's easily the difference between shooting someone down and getting shot down when you don't have the extra precision and control.

you are assuming that there will be customization of controls in this game , there wont be.
The stick you posted is for professional flight simmers and maybe il2 on PC
all that is needed for il2 birds of prey is a ace edge stick or an aviator
not that many commands
