I don't think Terroin changed anything there, it is either a WoTn bug or our companion that sometimes crashes when in some battlegrounds. You can take all items off, put on again and see if it works or have one other fight and come back. Sometimes it works just 2nd time without doing anything.
A similar thing can happen in Hall of Heroes on Nordlig Isle, if it crashes before battleground is shown most likely it is because of our mod system with companion or 7th summoned creature from Beastmaster, Blacksmith, Infiltrator etc.
That is also why we changed the Medal Trapper, before it put random traps on battleground and we had some crashes with that.
