1 When you set a runway it puts the icon there. Have you tried runway #5 or #6 (the invisible runways, usually used for seaplanes) and just place one of those over the actual buna runway? just make sure in properties section you assign it to correct team.
2. Make sure you have the option Despawn AI AC after they land and park unchecked.
As for the betty's change their speed to a lower value, one that you can keep up with. Well according to pacific war online encyclopedia, at 3000m good cruising speed for betty's is 315km/hr. Might I ask what plane you are trying to use to keep up with them?
3. What is your waypoint altitude (the waypoint just prior to the landing one) for the C-47s? Remember WAU is in the mountains, so set height accordingly. I E don't have it set to 500m.
