Just check that everything was detected.

Check CPU MHz, and that your memory is well configured.

I can“t believe that some BIOS change on your memory settings could bring your performance so low as 50% less. But it is the only other thing that could give slower performance because of a BIOS change.

Check your memory types, and look their settings on the manufacturer. Then see which of those are supported by your BIOS, and do all the changes you can do to fulfill manufacturer settings.
