I got stuck on the ELE TAERA quest.

I was requested to talk to the herbalist on Melassar but, even if the herbalist building shows the mark of the on-going quest, if I talk to him he does not refer to the antidote for the elf.

I am stuck and cannot go on with the game.
Any help?
