I think you'll find that almost all other wheels that have a 900° rotational travel also have a clutch pedal and a shifter. Earlier wheels did not, and also did not have 900° of rotation. Logitech have set a new standard with the G25, and other brands have quickly adopted to be able to compete.
The
Fanatec Porsche 911 GT3 RS wheel is a good example - but definitely not the only one! - of a wheel that many people find to be better than the G25, while not yet being extremely expensive.
Note that while there is no picture of the shifter unit, it
is there, as is the case with all Fanatec wheels. And it's said to be of better quality than the G25 one.
