If you have your XP maxed on patches and everything - I would strongly recommend you to turn the HW to service vendor - maybe you mainboard or one of the memory bars has a hardware problem. As you system is quite new - you should use your warranty.. IMHO

Don't forget - it may be only worse (even if you can ignore it by saying to yourself "2 gigs are fine" but remember it may get worse)
