I would really like to see something besides the scenario, somekind of skirmish that could also work in multi-player, a few different maps that have a few separate regions divided by races (humans, dwarfs and elves), in the middle an island with outlaws (like the isles of freedom) a few dragon islands. At each region you advance trough stronger enemies and harder quests to level up and reach either a common place or to get to the high level parts of the other race region and fight the enemy. Each race to have its own characteristics but to be evenly matched and to test the wits of the hero controlling the army. Also I am a really big fan of co-op so something (a map maybe) having 2v2v2 would be really nice, I am sure that if this will be used there will be enough map makers and enough places from where to get custom maps.
Also a new and better AI would be really good and something like 2 players vs 2 computers vs 2 computers (numbers may vary) would work very nice. The goal at everything above is to level fast, do many battles & quests and become as strong as possible so you can fight the enemy.
I am imagining right now a 2p vs 2comp vs 2comp : The players will either go together through a single path and split the experience or go separate paths, fight battles together, team up to fight stronger enemies [something just popped up: 2 brothers serving the king, they get an order to conquer mines and mills, save someone, if they got multiple targets they split up and do them together, chat and ask for help if you need to fight a strong enemy and the friend is near, so many ideas in a short period of time...]
Whew, trough-out my tangled thoughts, the rain of ideas is poring harder and harder, the river is getting larger and larger and eventually my head will get flooded
. Some opinions and after I get a bucket to drain the river of ideas (bucket = notebook + pen) I will post some more.
PS: I just realized that I am not talking anymore about KB expansion but more likely KB 3
