I have run many tests with my system in countless software configurations.
SLI works better on my system with the settings I use.
I normally run Il2 at 1920x1200 with AA at 4x and AF at 16. Most of the drivers I have tested benefit from SLI running Il2.
The BIG thing for Il2 performance is your processor/clock speed. It doesn't matter how much power you have for the GPU, you need a good CPU to gain the full power of your GPU. That's the way Il2 works.
I do get an increase in performance using 2 of my 4 cores. That and many other tests have been documented on another thread quite some time ago using the Black Death and Kamikaze as test tracks.
