I recently spent some time in Virginia Beach, Virginia(here in the U.S.), and while looking for something to do in off season, found an ad for the "Military Aviation Museum". It's located just south of Virginia beach, and houses a nice collection of all flyable restored WW1, and WW2 aircraft (as well as some vehicles, guns, and other memorabilia). If you have a chance, I highly recommend visiting, as it's the type of place where you can "lay on hands" with all planes (and if you talk nice, get to sit in some!).
