UP and other Mod packs don't always work well one some of these features... for example, flying the C-47 is something you can only do in a MOD so I'm not sure if the makers of that project would have paid attention to the navigation systems...
Perhaps there are other problems with the mod packs. I know some of the guys on our server have had more success with the SAS packs as far as retail feature compatibility goes.
