Thanks Pfeil but I think you are not even close with your total samples. I saw a sound mod once and there were over 670 samples. You're missing all the engine sounds like the Allison, PrattWhitney, Jumo, Merlin, etc. Also missing are a lot of guns...MG_Browning30, MG_Browning50, MG_Hispano, MG_ShVAK, as well as others.
This weekend I was able to get hold of a small sound mod consisting of just a couple of guns. I liked them better than the default guns but the new ones were too loud. I was able to load them into a program called WaveStudio (which I downloaded for free) and very easily lowered the volume on the guns. I then replaced the default samples with the new ones.
This is just one small example that I am talking about. Actually, asking for just the filenames was probably a mistake. What we really need (and I also asked for) is a copy of all the .wav samples so we can review/edit/replace them as we see fit. I mean, I really don't see why TD would give us this new feature if the average player cannot use it.
