That does sound powerful, i'm having problems getting past the second entrant with my warrior who's got plenty of leadership and horsemen.
But on the other hand, what the mage has early on, is probably made up for later on as he won't be able to field as large armies

Personally i found them good, but then, we all have different opinions on things
