2. October 1940. Two Hurricane of the 151 Sqn. took off from RAF Digby. Pilot of the Hurricane V7434 DZ-R was I.S. "Black" Smith.
"Black" Smith spoted e alone incoming HE 111 of the 1/ KG 53 A1+CH. He attack the Heinkel and shot it down. The five Menbers of the Heinkel`s Crew were taken prisoner-of-war.
