War is hell.
When it comes down to it the first rule of war is to inflict the most amount of damage to the enemy with the least amount of risk to yourself.
In his best seller "The Art of War", Sun Tzu clearly states "The musical notes are only five in number but their melodies are so numerous that one cannot hear them all"
Which I have alway taken as meaning "shoot the b&5tards on the ground!"
Or maybe Ts'ao Ts'ao was closer with "Use the most solid to attack the most empty"?
