That is a good point

Initially I got the impression that is what the graph was trying to do..

But based on the table that Kurfurst just posted, I see now the graph is right, just it's presentation was not all that it could be.

Put another way

As the graph implied.. (at sea level)

And Kurfurst table confirmed.. (at 12kft)

The Spit does turn a lot better than the Bf109

At more than one altitude!

Theres a reason for instrumenting a plane for test..
That being a pilots's 'perception' of what is going on can be very different from what is 'actually' going on.
