I dunno as I have never played as a gunner... I only fly 109s.... but I'm wondering..... could it be you are wasting your ammo and then there is a period of time in which your gunner needs to reload? (hence why you can't shoot) Just a thought.... could be miles off, mind. lol I only ask this as that is the bane of my existence when playing First Person Shooters.
Everytime I have a clear headshot my damned gun needs to reload.
