Grawl, but also saving up for a new OS like Windows 7 64-bit is not a big feat either. A gamer does not need the Ultimate version at all, Home Premium is more than enough for a casual game or even HC gamer. As you said it is about priorities as some might waste that money in a whim without remorse getting drunk in a bar, but an OS feels so terribly expensive
WinXP is not an option for me anymore after using W7 64-bit, so much less hassle and stuff.
