It cannot be realistic for only trackir. Trackir is just a helpful thing, but can never reach reality. So tje limitations are not, what a real pilot has.
Just think about a pilot going into gunsight view, totally to the front. He will not have a 30 degree viewing limitation and will do everything possible for him , that he not loses his target. That means, that he will turn his head more than 30 degrees, he will roll eyes additionally to stay close to the gunsight and he will be able to turn his body and shoulders even when it just a bit. So, he would at least see 90 degrees left and right. With rolled eyes and the humans ability to train peripheric view, the pilot will see all the way around. I can peripherically see 90 degrees without movin head and eyes and just have to roll eyes to see every movement left and right with enough detail. What i want to say is, that I peripherically see something passes at 90 degrees and I just need to roll the eyes to focus.
Trackir is just head movement and do not simulate eye rolling, peripheric looking and movement of my skeleton or the whole upper body.
So, let 6dof be real 6dof possibilty and delete the restriction, because it is totally out of reality! I know, that they tried to simulate something, but it is simply nonsense and do not reflect reality.
Yes: they could perhaps move their head just some degrees in that specific situation, but the could roll eyes or release their position very fast. I do not want to press viewing every second in dogfight.
That is, why I think, that is totally weird and unnatural feature. I simply dont want to fly like this anymore.
