Not necessarily, in WoT you can often see n00bs who have bought premium tanks and they get killed off pretty quickly by the seasoned vets who knows the maps and have better tactics. Same thing translates to real life fighter pilots, the vet
will take down the noob even if he has got a better plane most of the times, saying anything else is like discrediting yourself. I mean, after maybe decades of combat flight simming you must've gained some type of valuable experience, right?
