Well. I am one of the modders (in February 2011, both throttle levers and pedals; pictures
here) and the changes I made are still
very effective 
Because I built my own controls and panel later I did not bother to mod the three trim controls of the stick and the R1 and R2 on the throttle (which I do not use at all), so those still show the ReversalBug (Firmware flashed to 1.42).
I do not know about ReversalBug (throttle, pedals, trims) in recent versions of the G940 (and please, before anyone claims that it is not there, research thoroughly what it is and how it is detected), but I read of throttle R1 and R2 spikes (broken cable within throttle, pictures
here) sometimes here and there.
However,
modded the G940 is a charm. Well constructed, very solid, and I wouldn't do without the Forcefeedback for the world.
