Default No cockpit gunsight
With the no cockpit gunsight what is the significance of the gaps in the dotted lines?

Also when estimating lead what is the AOT of a plane on the main outer circle of the sight

I can seem to tie it up with either the RAF of LW gunsights

Any help much appreciated
