Athos, I had a discussion with my parts dealer and we agreed to let the dust settle a bit before making the jump. And this testing on my rig would be useful for me. Could for sure see if I would gain anything by going nVidia. I like the 7970HD a lot and 680GTX seems to be a strong good card too. But as it seems a few FPS does not warrant any changes in my rig..yet  I would rather jump to the PCIe 3.0 Ivy Bridge to get maximum performance out of the 7970HD..but again will that be so much of a difference. Coming in late tonight depending on delivery time or in worst case tomorrow morning. Already benched with my gtx 580 to compare with. So now... i just wait, wait, wait, wait... this day is going to be painfully long. I'm always like a kid on christmas when i got something new incoming
