Being overly concerned about it connecting seems silly.
I'm actually (horrors!) a big fan of pay to play. I'd happily give them a constant revenue stream in return for constant development.
I'm maintained a WW2OL subscription since beta (i was a closed beta tester) just because I support such a cool idea. It can be pretty entertaining into the bargain
