Hi, unless you know of quite a few people its probably worth joining a squad. Many people try but unless you can offer something unique (time zone or some specialist flying) you might find it hard to recruit. If you go ahead then you will need a name and website (for details of your squad, forum etc) Then you can register at Ubi
