I wanted a non-reference one too but small supply of cards only here so had to take what I could. I am happy with it and a lot. As of the nVidia..I am interested in it too, but I am sure it will be a lot more expensive than AMD. At least there was over 150€ difference here between 6970HD and 580GTX so was not worth it...But anyway..great to see new tech coming
