So what if "others" are looking at Oleg's work? Someone's going to steal an idea, and beat Oleg to the punch? Remember, I'm only asking for a small demo to show 6dof implementation from inside the Spit, and the 109. Am I being asked to believe that after all these years of knowing of the existence of SoW that development hasn't proceeded to even this point? DCS's Black Shark effort has produced several videos along the way, and those have always been greeted with excitement from it's fans (including me). Sure someone always questions certain aspects of what they see, or don't see. But so what? Really that's not important to me. To be perfectly frank, the one thing I look forward to in SoW is the internet play. It's the one thing that has kept me from buying Bob_WoV. People can talk about damage models, and surely about FMs, but that's a much ado about very little, imho. I know that FMs are really relative to how much processing power one wants to commit to; you can't model every plane's FM accurately and still have processing power for the eye candy we all love at frame rates we can live with.
Hmmmm... It seems to me that the sim FighterOPs is being called vaporware because so little content is being released. I'm not suggesting this about SoW, but merely pointing out that too little info is a bad thing. At least Oleg answers questions once in a while here. But again, I'm only asking for a little video, and very specificly at that.
So, to sum it up, I guess there are two camps here: those who want a simple video now, and those who can wait longer (even my squadron commander 99th_Bearcat

). I mean no offense to any camp on this issue. Just expressing my view too. Ya know? Those who want to march with me, feel free! Those who are comfy to wait, peace be yours.

Flyby out
ps to Bearcat: getting back is always on my mind, boss. Soon too, I hope.
