IMHO hes (Gutted) not using the realistic gunnery setting all the time... In some half of those shots doesnt take enough lead, or not lead at all! The P47 that got it's tail shot away for example - very far, no lead, no explosions... His vid is very entertaining, agreed, but it tells nothing about his flying skills. Same goes to the 2nd vid...
If I had recorded my every flight I could make a vid similar to the GoodKnight's one... And again, entertaining yes, but having fought him myself I got to say he aint quite THAT good!
Of course you could say the same about my imaginary P51 vs poor 109s HACK & SLASH vid.
