If you post your current [window] section of your conf.ini I could modify it here for you if you want to see it on your system.

Keep in mind that on a single monitor, even widescreen, that it will not really be too usable.
It is intended to create three different 4:3 aspect ratio windows (ie like 3 views each 1024x768 ), each representing a different view on each monitor. To fit that on a single monitor means the height will be very small.
It doesn't draw a view directly to each monitor, it just draws a view that is 3 times as wide as normal and each 1/3 of the picture represents a different view. It requires hardware like the TH2G or software like UltraMon that sends 1/3 of the view to each monitor. Because the view was draw in 1/3 sections and the TH2G sends 1/3 of the view to each monitor it gives the perception that each monitor has a different view.
But you can display this 3 view on a single monitor, Il-2 doesn't know or care, it's just that as I said before it is not really that usable on a single monitor because it maintains a 4:3 aspect ratio so 3 views across a single monitor means that the height is really small.

Good explanation. Thanks for the link.
I still think, though, that you can a much better view when turning the monitor by 90degrees and the desktop likewise. While you practically have the same width as normal, you can view the instrument panel and mirror without moving your head. Looking around it also gives you a better view of the above contacts, which usually are the most dangerous.
