To change convergence you need to get a set of spanners and alter the angles that the guns are mounted in the wings. Not practical in flight.

It is a useful way to judge distance to target. To calculate the distance you are from target. Set the wing span on the sight, agjust the distance until the gap meets the wingspan of the target object , then read the distance from the scale. Make any adjustments to your aim and understand that your not firing at convergence distance.
