If you do that, everybody will just hop into a new plane. To make it appealing for realism-geeks like you and me, you've got to combine it with some limited supply, e.g.: You join the server, you always get your desired steed, BUT after that, there's some
very limited plane supply (filled up by x planes every hour or so), along with a server culture that frowns upon easy-plane-hopping (And some server-re-join time rule of like 5 mins. to not be able to get your starting condition over and over again)
