Wallaroo? My Dad was born & raised in Wallaroo Mines in 1918. Joined the RAAF in '42, came to Montreal, Canada same year to train with British Commonwealth Training Plan, earned his wings at St. Hubert Air Base, met & married Mom (that's why i'm Canadian
),then left for England (multi engines) and remained in ETO until demob'd in late '45 and returned to Canada. He passed on in '09 and my brother flew from Toronto to Adelaide to lay Dad's ashes in the family plot in W.M.
