”In August 1944 the 406 FG and other units of the Ninth AF were supplied with the 4.5 in (114mm) M-8 and M-10 one-piece ground attack/anti-tank rockets launched from triple ´bazooka`-type tubes, whish were heartily disliked by the pilots. Their main drawbacks were the already noted inaccuracy, and the fact that their launching tubes could not be jettisoned, thus impairing the performance.”
