Pretty much the way i see it. If they have a couple of graphics programmers with spare time and can't use them on something else what are they supposed to do, sit in the office doing nothing?
I don't care much about 3D at this point in time, but as long as it's not to the detriment of everything else i don't mind at all, good for them that they are using some spare work-hours on bonus features.
On a side note, i've been out of town and away from the PC for a couple of days, seems some of us missed the moderating red text
