Thats why I respect Gaijin. They are not just doing some old WWII arcade shooter like Blazing angels. They create a bridge between the arcade shooter and the flight sim which makes the transition easier especialy for the FPS playing 13yo's who could be the next generation of flight simmers. As the flight sims get ever more realistic there is a need for this "semi-sim" As young people today usually want things easy to get to grips with, high accessability, and to feel as they are doing well as they improve. The lack of this bridge in the past may be one cause of the drop in the flight sim genre. Hopefully with MG and Gaijin the genre can gain popularity again.
