The point is this:
If some feel somewhat cheated about the state of Clod, consider that Capcom, one of the richest and best-respected of all gaming software houses, released a game where they promised patches to fix several issues with the game (but didn't) and promised certain DLC (that never materialised) and instead, plan on releasing the "fixed" game, incorporating some content that was supposed to be DLC for the first game, and charging people full price for it.
Imagine the howls of protest if MG did that.
