The Hurricane could do it though, with such a thick wing in comparison to other fighters such as the Spitfire/Mustang, so it made for a vert sturdy gun platform.
You name it the Hurricane could do it. It may not of been the best fighter aircraft by the end of the war, but it was without a doubt the most versatile aircraft of the war having been used in every role without much ugrading etc.
A true work horse.
On topic.... did you see the manaquin get destroyed in that clip? Nasty!! And the recoil it had when in fully automatic mode. Ouch!!

yes i'm agree with u.and your video is very intteresting,a lot of details about the vickers 40 mm,i read in a book that the nickname of the hurricane with 40 mm guns was "the can-opener"...we can understand why!!!

the free french air force used hurricane in the desert war in ww2 too.
