No seriously you're not getting the full picture. It's the comradeship, esprit de corps, the lads getting together, fannying around, laughing, joking, shouting, swearing, spitting, crashing, burning, dodgeing, weaving, ducking and diveing, f'ccking and skiveing. Hmmm, this game doesn't bring all that to me. Il-2 sturmovik 1946 did and still does. And if I wanted comradery, I would have joined the army or a local soccer-club.
Being a nerd when it comes to games and authenticity(I LIKE SIMULATION!), well yes, that's me (but that doesn't make me single - I didn't get that part of ur answer and is definitely not single!).
But all those qualities you just mentioned, are likely to fit any well-build/modelled game (FPS'es, simulations and so on)...
