Big i am going to make a suggestion to you...backup all your files delet windows departition the hard drive and then repartition it into 2 drives (C:/D

Then reinstall windows on both drives but keep drive D: for GAMES ONLY!! NOTHING ELSE will be installed on that drive except GAMES! no AV no FIREWALL! nothing! and then set it to performance (click START right click COMPUTER choose PROPERTIES click ADVANCED SYSTEM SETTINGS under PERFORMANCE choose SETTINGS and then check the ADJUST FOR BEST PERFORMANCE button)
then you will need a boot disk unless your system is new enough that there is a splash screen that gives you the option to select "boot " device.
one of the reasons i get better performance than people with same or better rigs is because i have a clean and performance tuned OS
