Did you try it; take the single/quick mission/over dover but change from Hurricane to Spitfire empty loadout, cut throttle and dive to zero altitude (take care to dive on your back, negative G's) when you are at this zero altitude throttle at max and climb take care that you speed never fals under 180Mph. Get to 10.000ft.
The Spitfire Mk IIa is correctly modeled. 2600ft/minute. 10.000ft 5minutes.
