It is better to chase the case and chose one with a good ventilator in the side of it where the graphic card(s) is/are installed. An open case is an invitation for trouble because of the quantity of dust going in and there is nothing to stop it. But if you do not have the money for it than by cleaning once a week, remove the inside dust, then the removal of the side panel and maybe putting next to it a home big ventilator why not!
