Who cares if you are using professional software that takes advantage of the i7's hyperthreading! That has nothing to do with gaming or Cliffs of Dover. All you're doing is trying to get people to throw away hundreds of dollars on something they don't need. When people ask, "What's a good system for Cliffs of Dover?" they're not asking," what's a good system for Cliffs of Dover and running professional video editing software?". Understand?

They don't want to throw away thousands of dollars on a system that's going to be spanked by an $800 one a year from now. They don't care if the i7 will allow them to render their CGI nerd fantasies 40 seconds faster. Nobody cares about that!
