I upgraded from 32 bit xp to win 7 home premium 64 bit. The difference for me was amazing, no more crashes and far better fps. After the patch, disabling aero and Kegety's mods it's transformed it into a fantastic sim that is very smooth even with 20+ planes in the sky.
