, nevermind, I asked Steam to remove my Russian cd key so that I could use my UK one, all they have told me to do thus far is change the programme language to english within steam, which is rubbish btw cos it was already.
I have installed it three times now and everytime it downloads the russian version, the old maddox.dll trick wont work unless somebody uploads the new version somewhere as youve already stated.
