Forget the dual gpu. I had two Ati 5770 in CF and OC´d and yes I had great power for little money, but when the game did not use CF I was in trouble. I had to sell the cards and get Ati 6970 2gb because of IL2 not supporting CF.

As Krupi said 6gb of RAM is enought for games. Yes you can buy more, but it helps nothing if you don´t multitask heavily or do some videoediting or something. Plus even if you bought 6gb and noticed it is not enought it is cheap to buy more later.

And on the processor side I5 is the choise for you. I7 is slower one of the two (until they release the new I7´s at later this year) 2500 or 2600 depending on you budget. And do yourself a favor and buy a good aftermarket cooler. Less noise and you can OC those I5´s like no other. For example Noctua NH-D14 is a good aircooler. It´s not the only one but for my liking it is the best (went from stock 2.66ghz to 4.1ghz and still same temperatures with my I7 920).
