Capturing tracers on camera intensifies their effect, particularly in low light conditions where the camera exposure is set for the lower ambient lighting conditions. Seen with the naked eye they are considerably less pronounced. Having served with the military for 9 years I can assure you they are grossly overdone on COD, so guess who was PWND and needs to be quiet .
