Yes
UBi banalities are, for example, 20+ pages threads where nothing is happening.
Charts, book quotes, various infos etc. they all serve the purpose of showing that their poster is right.
How smart he is or even how good looking he is
They go OT by the page 2 but no one cares as long as they prove their point
"x aircraft has 3m/s greater climb rate"
or.........
"x aircraft has 12km/h greater speed at alt y"
