The thought that some how Ubisoft or 1c deliberately planned to ruin the game just for the sake of being evil was not a rationale, adult response. But, it was one clearly advocated by people who live their lives according to simple stories: good vs. evil.
If this game upsets you this much, try finding something else to invest your emotional energy in: like a human being.
