I didn't know what the f*ck I was doing with the memory settings so just left them on AUTO on BIOS I let the processor run at 3ghz so it seems to work fine like this (except the fan is a bit louder), but I am happy to get the extra boost.

yes, that sounds familiar. I seem to remember I could not overclock my p4 correctly until I had the ram speed and the timings inputed in the bios. So if your running your ram slower than it can handle, you can't overclock your cpu as much and you hit instability wall. those AUTO ram settings might be holding you back on your overclock is what I'm trying to say.
